STEP 2: Submit (or claim) your listings at Google’s Local Listings service and The Universal Business Listing service. It’s important to submit complete information including photos, description, and more. As a bonus, optimized Google Local Listings are now included in web search results!
STEP 3: Submit (or claim) your listing at additional localized directories and update them with complete information including photos, description and more.
STEP 4: Create a prioritized XML SiteMap and Robots.txt file and set up your site in:
- Google Webmaster Tools
- Yahoo Site Explorer
STEP 5: Set up Google Analytics to monitor website traffic data including number of visitors, on-site behavior, and traffic sources. You will also be set up with a login account to view this data, and receive monthly reports.
